Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our construction process, from initial design concepts to final delivery and maintenance.
Design & Planning
Do you provide design and architectural services?
expand_more
Yes, we collaborate with our network of architects and designers to develop comprehensive plans tailored to your vision. We can work with your existing architect or recommend one from our trusted partners. All designs are optimized for budget, aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
Can you modify an existing design during construction?
expand_more
Yes, within reason. We encourage design refinements during early phases. Changes made mid-construction incur additional costs and timeline adjustments. All modifications require written change orders documenting scope, cost, and timeline impact to maintain project integrity.
Post-Construction & Warranty
Do you provide long-term maintenance after the build?
expand_more
Yes, we offer maintenance packages to ensure your property remains in peak condition. Additionally, all our work comes with a comprehensive structural warranty and a 12-month defect liability period where we address any settling or minor issues immediately.
What is your warranty coverage?
expand_more
We provide a 10-year structural warranty covering foundational and load-bearing elements. Finishes and installations have a 5-year warranty. A dedicated 12-month defect liability period follows project completion, during which we address any issues at no additional cost. Additional extended warranties are available.
How do I report issues during the defect liability period?
expand_more
Contact our post-construction support team via phone, email, or our online portal. We prioritize defect reports and dispatch teams within 48 hours for assessment. Critical issues (safety-related) receive immediate attention. All repairs are documented and tracked throughout the 12-month period.
Process & Timeline
What is the typical project timeline from start to finish?
expand_more
Timelines vary by scale. A major home renovation typically takes 4–6 months, while a custom new build can range from 10 to 18 months. This includes the design phase, permitting, structural work, and finishing. We provide a detailed Gantt chart schedule at the project kickoff.
Who handles the city permits and approvals?
expand_more
Anuda Construction handles the entire permitting process. We coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and local municipality officials to ensure all plans are approved and inspections are passed at every stage of the build.
How do you handle project delays?
expand_more
We maintain a detailed project schedule with contingency buffers. In case of unforeseen circumstances (weather, supply delays, regulatory changes), we proactively communicate with our clients and provide updated timelines. Our contracts include clear terms regarding force majeure and responsibility allocation.
